I qualified P1 with a 2'17.697, more than 5 seconds quicker than P2, using 6 bars of Nitrous.
The 300SL takes the lead off the launch, and I don't pass it until Turn B. I maintain a lead of a second or two, but I have to block it as we finish the first lap. It passes me as we come out of Turn A, and I overtake it for good after scrubbing it into the outside wall of Turn C.
I ended the practice session with 1101 miles, and finished the race with 1108 miles on the odometer.
