For the Practice session, I upped the Nitrous to 50 and juiced it for the entire hot lap. I qualified P1 with a 5'19.153, almost 18 seconds quicker than P2. Of course, I cut the Dunlop and Ford chicanes, but it took me a while to find the best line through.

For the race, I reset the Nitrous to 10, and readjusted 6th gear. After exiting Arnage, the Mini passes while I try to block it and the GTA. Fortunately, it goes into the dirt at Porsche, and I finish the first lap with a 7 second lead. However, the long straights always provide the competitors with ample opportunity to catch up.

I was expecting the GTA to pit at the end of lap 21, but it came in at the end of lap 20. Having already passed the Pit entry, I knew I'd have to make some time. I juiced it from there, and exited the pits ahead of the GTA... good-to-go, with N2s front and rear. The race was much more manageable from there, but plenty of blocking was still required.

For 33 laps, I have to fend off the GTA along Hunaudiers and between Arnage and Porsche. Only on the Final Lap, when I emptied the bottle, did I manage to run a lap without having to worry about being passed.

There a few times when I lost the lead, but I'd usually get it back within a couple of seconds. However, on Lap 17 or so, the GTA dives on the inside of me at Mulsanne, sending my left side into the dirt on the exit, and I don't pass it until I cut the S/F Chicanes. Even with that, we're side-by-side as we head into Dunlop for Lap 18 with the GTA on my left, so I send him into the dirt for a spin.

I ended the practice session with 788 miles, and finished the race with 1085.0 miles on the odometer.
