Starting in 6th isn't much of a problem. However, the short races make it more crucial to get and hold the lead quickly. I took off the power add-ons, upped the Nitro to 35, and went back to the stock transmission. These races can be won for 200 points without adding ballast. Since this event doesn't allow for Racing Tires, I switched back to S2s.

Please refer to these track maps when looking up Turn numbers/names ** Special thanks to AMG @ GTPlanet.net for the hard work put in to generate them!!! **
I took 5th at Turn B, 4th at Turn D, 3rd along 4th Ave., and 2nd at Turn F. I'm side-by-side with the leader at T1, ahead by 0.122", and I finish Lap 1 in P1.
But as the chicane approaches, I brake too late and go sliding into the front Armco. I briefly get passed in the process, but manage to squeeze my way back into the lead by the time we enter Turn B. From there, I drive a bit sloppily, but manage to hold the lead for the win with 7 bars of Nitrous.
I ended the race with 224.0 miles on the odometer.
