I qualified P1 with a 2'04.367, more than 4 seconds quicker than P2, using 1 bar of Nitrous.

I zig-zag off the line to keep the MOTUL and NISMO behind. Everything's fine, until I head for the beach out of 130R. I fall back to 5th as I make my way back to the track, and the CALSONIC bumps me back up to speed. I cut through Casio and move back into 2nd, and at the end of Lap 1 I'm down 1.088" to the MOTUL.

I must've loved the sandbox when I was a kid, as I can't seem to avoid it. I go way wide through 1st Curve, and fall back to 5th. My lawnmowing is hampered by the ZEXEL being on my left, and I take an unusual angle that takes me too far into the sand. I retake 4th after passing the ZEXEL through Gyaku, and I find myself down more than 4 seconds when crossing T1.

I'm back into 3rd as I pass the CALSONIC heading into Spoon, and I bash into the back of the NISMO as it brakes for Casio, taking 2nd in the process. I do the best I can to keep the MOTUL in sight, and I finally catch up to it on Lap 4.

I pass it as I cut through the grass, but when 130R comes up again, the MOTUL comes up and pressures me into cutting left too early. This sends me wide for the exit, and the MOTUL briefly takes the lead again.

I bash into it as it brakes for Casio, but it doesn't budge. I manage to take the outside of the final right turn, and squeeze it into the inside dirt. I'm ahead by 1.003" at the start of the Final Lap, and after lawnmowing through 2nd and S Curve, I cruise to the line for the win.

I ended the practice session with 200 miles, and ended the race with 218.7 miles on the odometer.
