Please refer to these track maps when looking up Turn numbers/names ** Special thanks to AMG @ GTPlanet.net for the hard work put in to generate them!!! **
For qualifying, I set the Ballast to 0, and changed it back to 70 for the race. I qualified P1 with a 0'35.243, almost 2 seconds quicker than P2.
I crash-turned both corners, and gradually built a lead of around 2 seconds. By Lap 8, the NISMO and MOTUL start to cut into it, as my outside tires start to go. By Lap 11, they're on my tail and start to catch windbreaks on the exits onto the straights. Fortunately, I hold each turn without spinning out, and manage to cross the Finish Line less than a second ahead with 1 bar of Nitrous left.
I've tried numerous times to run this race cleanly, but it's impossible to match the grip and speed the others have when going through the turns. The only other way to do so would require a wing, and since that would mess up the A-spec offering (not to mention, I wouldn't be able to switch back and forth between using it and not), I elected to crash-turn the corners instead.
By the end of the race, my tires are goin' rainbow: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green. I finish with one bar of Nitrous.
I ended the practice session with 84 miles, and ended the race with 104 miles on the odometer.
