Day 193 (11 OCT, YEAR 1): Japanese Events / All Japan GT Championship / Race 1

I headed over to the Tune Shop and bought some goodies for the Series 1: Stage 2 NA Tune ($13500); Nitrous ($5000); Racing Chip ($1800); Sports Suspension ($3300); Full Custom Transmission ($10500); Triple Plate Clutch ($4800); Racing Flywheel ($1100); Carbon Driveshaft ($3250); R3 Tires ($22750).

I spent $66000, bringing my SettingsHP to 441, and headed over to the event. After loading up the 14th lineup (it might be #13 or #15), there I was, the Gaikokujin, up against 5 Nissan JGTC opponents.

Please refer to these track maps when looking up Turn numbers/names ** Special thanks to AMG @ GTPlanet.net for the hard work put in to generate them!!! **

I qualified P1 with a 1'40.142, more than 2 seconds quicker than P2... without using Nitrous. In spite of this, I decided to give a wallride exhibition to the local crowd. The best wallrides are at Turn 1, Turn 4 (crash-turn), Turn 5, and Turn 9. Turn 10 can be crash-turned, but I didn't feel it necessary for this race.

I do feel it necessary to reiterate that all I don't care how I have to drive, when there are 200 points on the line, ANYTHING GOES. I've already paid my dues with the License Tests and Driving Missions.

Anyhow, I decided to murderize the competition, and ended up using 8 bars of Nitrous while stretching the lead to nearly 15 seconds.

I ended the practice session with 6 miles, and ended the race with just under 23 miles on the odometer.
