Please refer to these track maps when looking up Turn numbers/names ** Special thanks to AMG @ GTPlanet.net for the hard work put in to generate them!!! **
I didn't do any wallriding nor did I use the Nitrous for my qualifying lap, and I posted a 1'50.327 (-0'00.384) for P1. I'm sure that if I would've let the session run longer, the CTR2 would've posted a quicker time.
Off the launch, I veer into the line of the RX-7, and then the CTR2, and then the HPA. Seeing how quickly they caught up to me, I elected to wallride many of the turns (#'s 1, 4, 5, 9), beginning with the first right hander.
Through Turn 9 on Lap 2, I bang into the outside wall and lose a considerable amount of time. The CTR2 is in my rear-view as I make my way through Turn 10, and I use my 2nd bar of Nitrous while coming up the front straight. I block it just as we approach the line, and I manage a victory with a 0'00.065 margin!
I ended the practice session with 116 miles, and ended the race with 123 miles on the odometer.
