This race was run with the bottle equipped, but I never used it. Going into the first turn on lap 1, the RS 1.5 scrubs by me on the inside. It's not until the 2nd to last turn (the climbing right hander) when I'm finally able to bash into it, and I hold the lead from there.
From there I took the time to practice modulating the throttle. Note that this is one of a few races that can be won without using the brake (other than Test Course Oval races). Fun stuff!
I ended the practice session with 208 miles, and ended the race with 211 miles on the odometer.
