There are 10 seconds on the clock when I cross the Start line, and the leader is coming out of Columbus (Turn A), along Central Park.
L1 T1: + 0'27.152
I bang the outside wall as I make the right hander onto West 55th (Turn G). No penalty, but not good.
L1 T2: + 0'23.742
After crossing T2, I pass the Isuzu going down 7th Ave.
L1 F: + 0'19.104
I bang into the left side wall while making the turn through Columbus. It slows me down quite a bit, but helps me get a good angle for the exit along Central Park.
L2 T1: + 0'16.700
Having the Nissan in front of me, my braking for Turn B is weird. I give an initial stab, then ease into the turn with lighter braking. I make the first right hander, and aim for the inside of the SKYLINE for the left hander. Significant contact was made with it while passing, but I avoid the penalty and continue.
L2 T2: + 0'13.025
Heading into the hairpin at the end of 7th Ave, the 2nd and 3rd place opponents are bunched up (CELICA and GALANT, respectively). I pass both of them after exiting the turn.
L2 F: + 0'08.474
Coming through Columbus, my back end steps out and this points me toward the corner of the inside wall. I bump it quite hard, but no penalty is issued. This turn was taken very sloppily.
L3 T1: + 0'06.344
I take the next few turns poorly as well, hitting the walls of Turn B a couple of times.
L3 T2: + 0'02.967
I'm actually quite a bit behind the Mazda as I enter the turns through 42nd Street (Turn J). By the time I exit the second right hander, I'm on the inside and I pass with no problem.

I cross the line at 6'45.865, going 104 mph in 4th gear.
