Day 78 (18 JUN, YEAR 1): Driving Mission 1

Now that I have my IA License, I'm free to earn some $Cr without having to get into a car (actually, some Driving Missions become available after acquiring the IB License). This was important, as I need to earn some $ before Week 13 comes up (Day 85 to Day 91), and I don't want to commit to the use of any particular car yet. I'll be buying 4 cars that week, totalling $54809. I'll won't be using any of these, but buying them allows for the purchase of all other low-mileage cars that show up during Week 113.

I'll remind all readers about the bug that prevents 100% Completion... I'll be doing Mission 1 as my first Driving Mission, to avoid triggering this bug. After that, I'll be doing #s 2-4, then doing #s 30-34. This will leave me with enough days in Week 13 to purchase the 4 cars, as well as have enough $Cr to do so. After that, I'll continue with #s 5 to 29 before finishing off the S License Tests.

Lastly, each of the Missions will take a day, whether they are "cleared" or not. So, if you can't manage to clear the Mission and you don't want to "waste days", it's best to Retry the Mission (in the Pause Menu) before crossing the finish line. Otherwise, you'll have to eat the loss, or reset the console.

Please keep in mind that these are not necessarily my best times (CLICK HERE for my best times/replays). Please refer to these track maps when looking up Turn numbers/names * Special thanks to AMG @ GTPlanet.net for the hard work put in to generate them!!! *

Anyone who cannot pass this Mission should just return the game. Not really. I've failed this Mission before...

The toughest part of this Mission is avoiding a penalty for colliding with the other Fiat, but its entry to the turn is wide, so it shouldn't be a problem. Other than that, I used too much brake entering the corner. I think holding the mid 40s is possible.

I cross the line at 0'35.054, going 39 mph in 3rd gear.
