Please keep in mind that these are not necessarily my best times (CLICK HERE for my best times/replays).

This car has great high-speed grip, but pushing out of turns can be tricky without TCS on. It helps a lot to shift into 3rd, or avoid 2nd entirely when encountering excessive wheel spin for the exits, but throttle control is paramount.

There are large portions of the pavement that extend beyond the lines in the road. I try to use as much of them as I can.

Turn-in for the first right hander begins as the 100 m marker goes out of view (mid-screen, on the left). I brake as I get to the middle of the road, and take speed down from 153 to 107 before getting back on the gas in 4th gear. I try to smooth out a line to the outside, pointing back toward the inside barrier on the right.

Generally, staying in the middle of the road offered the highest speeds. I haven't managed to get above 236 yet, and for this run I think I only reach 234. This was a particularly jittery run, but I can usually manage a straighter line with the DualShock2.

I set up for Mulsanne by starting from the right, and I try to cut a line through the inside of the first curb that leads to the outside for the approach into the sharp right hander. I begin braking when the blue/yellow curbing starts to go off screen, and I go from 233 to 57, still braking as I make the turn-in.

I cut very sharply over the curbing, and get back on the gas as I pass the black wall on the right. I make this turn in 3rd gear, fluttering the gas to minimize wheel spin. I get back to full throttle when the tires catch.

I begin turn in for the right hander leading into Indianapolis as the 100 m sign goes by to the left. I brake from 233 to 145 as I pass the curbing on the right, and get back on the gas when I'm pointed back to the outside for the approach to the coming left turn.

When I reach the grass on the right, I begin braking and turn-in for Indy, but my throttle control for the exit stinks. I finally get into 3rd gear and make my way down the straight.

When the left side of the road goes from grass to dirt, I begin braking for the final right. I brake as I turn in, and finally release as I roll over the curb. I'm briefly in 2nd gear, then I blow out the traction, then I get back into 3rd and straighten out the car for the rest of the test.

A poorly executed last few turns, but I manage to cross at 1'42.814, going 115 mph in 3rd gear.
