Please keep in mind that these are not necessarily my best times (CLICK HERE for my best times/replays).

With more than 100 turns, I don't think describing this run with my usual details will help as much as if I were to just point out some key things for each section...

In simply looking for gold, there's not much need to push too hard. The key is to get the braking done early, and using the car's oversteer to help push through the turns.

There are several turns where good exits are crucial: Aremburg, Bergwerk, and especially Galgenkopf. These corners lead into long straights and/or uphill sections, and keeping a good exit speed can be the difference needed for gold.

The Pace Car brakes early and suddenly into Breidscheid (just after T4), so care must be taken to avoid passing it or colliding with it. It's also a good idea to take it easy through Hohenrain (the final turns), as it's easy to come in too hot for these final corners.

In general, the brakes on the 190 are well balanced for the car, but they are much less effective than the Pace Car's. If you're push-drafting, you don't need to worry as much about collisions when going into a turn, but if you're tailgating when his brakelights go on... get ready for a DQ.

As always, use the Pace Car's draft whenever practical.

Launch: 5500
Nothing special. I think my Hatzenbach and Hocheichen sections could've been better.
T1 - 0'58.745
T2 - 1'39.783
I nearly smacked into the back of the Pace Car for the left kink at the top of the hill (heading into Adenaur-Forst), and almost passed it after dodging it to the inside. Nearly passed it again heading into the following right hander.
T3 - 2'14.255
I hit the high inside curb of Kallenhard, pushing me wide to the left for the exit. I smacked the outside wall pretty good, but not enough for a DQ. Loss of speed penalty paid in full...
T4 - 3'16.297
My exit from Bergwerk was poor. I didn't brake enough on entry and it put too much of my left side over the outside curb than I usually like.
T5 - 4'04.533
I try to push-draft the Pace Car when I finally catch up to it just before Mutkurve, but it turns more to the right than I expect. I nearly pass it again heading into the left turn, and I brake too much. I feel like I should be holding triple digits through Mutkurve...
T6 - 4'38.653
Going through Karrussel felt really slow. I was way behind the Pace Car on exit.
T7 - 5'40.348
I'm too close to the inside when I approach Wippermann. I have to brake harder to compensate. I also come in too hot for the right hander between Eschbach and Brunnchen. I double-brake the turn, and still end up a little too wide for the exit.
T8 - 6'31.284
T9 - 6'57.188
I overcorrect the exit of Schwalbenschwanz, snapping the front end to the right for a moment. I don't think I lose much time, having a short distance to Kleine-Karrussel, but it didn't feel good. I also hit the high inside curb for the entry to Galgenkopf, which unsettles the car and nearly sends me off to the left. I have to lift and dab the brakes, and I don't get back to full throttle until a lot later than usual.
T10 - 7'48.179
I finally catch up to the Pace car while coming up the hill into T11. I should be doing so sooner, but my exit from Galgenkopf was poor. Otherwise, it's possible to come up the hill in the low 150s while push-drafting the Pace Car.
T11 - 8'15.379
I don't brake enough for the final right corner. I nearly go off, and I have to brake again near the edge of the outside curb. There's not a lot of track between this corner and the finish, but I took it very poorly.
Finish: 8'43.406 @ 69 mph in 3rd gear
