Please keep in mind that these are not necessarily my best times (CLICK HERE for my best times/replays).

If you've never wallridden before, this is a great place to learn... With that said, I was much more concerned with passing this test with a gold time than I was with driving "realistically".

The key to avoiding a DQ is to avoid collisions to the front end of the car. Bumps in the back aren't as likely to DQ the run, but it still might (I haven't spent much time testing its "tolerance"). Like normal driving, the goal is to reach the outside with a smooth line, then use the outside wall to make the turn... Carl Edwards might be offering lessons...

The first right turn is taken as a wallride, and as I'm coming into the straight portion, I brake. Hitting the wall will be unavoidable otherwise, and I manage to swing the back end around enough to avoid the DQ.

The following right hander is taken normally(ish). I still use the outside wall, but this time as a backstop after I swing the back end around too much, coming in too fast. I try to power through the rest of the turn, and I overcorrect to the left when doing so. Nearly hitting the left wall with the front end, I straighten out along the right side, near the cobblestone wall.

This turn just begs to be wallridden. I keep it in 3rd throughout, and stay along the right when I exit. This helps set up for the next left turn.

It's always a good idea to crank the steering to the inside just before contact is made with the outside wall. This will help prevent DQs, and also will help keep your speeds up as your front end won't grind into the barrier.

But as I come through this left, I brake way too late, and nearly get DQd when I hit the left side wall (the entry to the next right hander). I manage to avoid the DQ, and pull through the rest of the turn in 2nd.

The next left turn is taken semi-normally, and I swing the back end out to make sure I won't hit the wall with the front. I keep steady aim at the left side, as though I'm going to wallride the final double-left, but I brake and take the turn normally.

I slow down from 54 to 37, then get back on the gas for the final stretch. A slight turn is needed, as heading for the right side pole of the Finish banner will likely cause too big of a collision.

I cross the line at 0'55.511, going 64 mph in 3rd gear.
