Please keep in mind that these are not necessarily my best times (CLICK HERE for my best times/replays).

TCS is turned off for this test, which is usually a challenge for standing starts. The Alfa isn't an overpowering vehicle, so wheel spin for the launch usually isn't much of a concern.

So I launch around 3600, and I try to keep steady non-full throttle pressure until I get near the top of 1st gear. I found it best to get to 27 or 28 before shifting into 2nd, and while the needle will bounce off of the limiter, it's better than bogging the car with an earlier shift into 2nd.

I try to follow the Pace Car as best as I can, and set up for the first right turn along the left side. I brake slightly as I pass the inside corner, going from 76 to 67, and stay in 4th gear along the right side of the track.

I begin braking for the chicane after passing the yellow banner on the right wall. I slow down from 67 to 47, but I take a really bad entry that puts me into the right side corner. I end up double-braking, and still striking the wall with my right front fender. No DQ, so I move on...

Coming down the hill, I stay flat out until I pass under the Gran Turismo banner. I begin braking and turn-in here, then I get back on the gas in 3rd after making sure I don't crash into the Pace Car.

The left side wall can be used as a brake, and I nudge it slightly just before braking for the sharp right turn. I take a REALLY wide entry, mostly because I was going too fast, then start to steer toward the inside curb.

I miss... badly... and this puts me a lot closer to the left wall than I want to be for the left turn's entry. I manage the turn smoothly enough, and fall into the Pace Car's draft. I cross T1 at 0'56.584, and head up the hill.

Just as I start to enter the narrow street section, I begin braking. I go from 99 to 70, and nearly hit the right-side wall. I brake again down to 50, then jump on the gas and use the oversteer to finish the turn.

Setting up for the sharp left hander, I make my way to the right and I try to use the same braking point as the Pace Car. Unfortunately, my turn-in was way too early and/or sharp, and I bang into the left corner with my front fender. Another DQ avoided, and I stumble my way through the right-left complex.

After getting into 3rd gear, I lift a little before going flat out to make sure I don't end up in the left side wall. I get back on it after passing the first apex, and try to follow the Pace Car's draft.

I cross T2 at 1'31.044, and begin braking as the shadow along the left "thins out". I brake all the way from 106 to 55, when I make my way across the inside curb past the gate. I keep it tight to the Pace Car's tail, and begin braking for the right hairpin after crossing under the Gran Turismo banner.

I brake from 53 to 30 before fluttering the gas to finish the turn. It's easy to blow the back end out here, so I try to make sure I have grip before I go full throttle. Rolling through the streets, I try my best to follow the Pace Car's draft.

When it comes time to make the left turn just past the Citta di Aria and Gran Turismo signs (on the left wall), I lift slightly to help point the car to the inside. I get back on, and prepare for the tighter left turn that heads uphill.

As the car goes from sunlight to shadow, I begin braking for this final turn. It's possible to hold the low 50s for it, but I brake too much and end up dipping as low as 46. The important thing is to stay off of the right side wall, as this will not only slow the car, it runs the risk of a DQ.

I make my way up the hill in 3rd gear, and cross the line at 2'10.586, going 61 mph in 3rd gear.
