I like this section of CdA. Some of the turns will benefit from oversteer, but I couldn't take advantage of it for this run. I try to be careful not to hit the right side barrier after starting. A little nudge to the left is all that's needed.
I begin braking for the first left turn after passing the right side barrier. I slow down from 94 to 71, then get back on the gas for a short distance.
I brake for the second left about 50 m before the "Castrol" overhead banner (I can't identify a good braking point). Unfortunately, I'm in the middle of the road, and my entry angle is poor. This puts me wide for the exit, and I bang into the wall with my right front fender.
No DQ was issued, so I continue on... There is a spot along the right side wall where the sun peeks out of the left-side building's shadow. This is the braking point I used. I approach the hard left turn from the right, braking from 61 to 30. I get back on the gas as I come around the inside corner, then lift and dab the brakes when I change directions for the right hander.
I maintain the mid 30s, then prepare for the final turns. As I shift from 2nd to 3rd, I lift and steady the car. Being too eager on the gas would put me in the left side wall, so I try to be patient with the gas before going flat out. I finally make it around the corner, and head for the line.
I cross at 0'21.833, going 80 mph in 4th gear.
