Please keep in mind that these are not necessarily my best times (CLICK HERE for my best times/replays).
Here's a fun test with lots of 90 degree corners. Generally, I try to do much of the braking while driving straight, then I start my turn-in. I try to take lines where I can get back to full throttle before hitting the curb.
Braking for the first right hander begins just before passing the green 50 m sign (overhead). I go from 87 to 48, then get back on the gas as I roll over the curb/sidewalk. I make my way back to the right side to prepare for the next left hander.
For the second turn, I begin braking when the fencing on the right wall starts to go by. I brake from 79 to 42, beginning the turn-in when the sidewalk widens out. I try to maintain the same radius, all the way back to the left side wall to prepare for the upcoming right hander.
Turn-in starts just before coming out of a building's shadow. I begin braking just as I come out of it, then get back on the gas as I pass the inside curb (which I missed). I eventually make my way to the right side, to prepare for the double-left.
The shadows along the right will have a "step", where one shadow becomes longer than the other. This is what I use as my braking point, and I slow down from 83 to 49. I coast a little bit, then jump on the gas as I pass the first inside curb. I lift again to make sure the car won't hit the right side wall on exit, then get back on the gas as I roll over the curb.
I don't brake for the right hander that follows, simply lifting and swinging the wheel to the right. It's a good idea to take it easy through this turn, to stay along the right for a better entry into the final left, but I jump on the gas too early and hard. This puts me closer to the middle of the road for the final turn's entry.
And when I swing the steering back to the left, I do so too early and/or too hard. This points my car toward the corner of the left barrier, and I have to correct back to the right. I almost nudge the right side wall of the final turn's exit, but manage to stay clear of it.
I cross the finish line at 0'42.621, going 65 in 2nd (in between 2nd and 3rd, actually)...
