Please keep in mind that these are not necessarily my best times (CLICK HERE for my best times/replays).

I've probably failed this test more than any other in GT4. Others might take longer to gold, but this one gave me a lot of problems. I have no idea how it only took me 2 tries to do this one (on this run), since for most of my other gamesaves, it took me closer to 20 or 30 tries each... The next test, IB7, never gave me as much trouble. Partly because I had so much practice with IB6 at that point, but more likely because TCS is turned off for IB7...

T1 is just off of the line for this test, and launching near 3000 allows for posts of 0'00.657, sometimes 0'00.656. However, for this run, I launch closer to 8000, and my T1 was 0'00.668. It might not seem like much, but it could potentially translate into valuable fractions of a second.

The Z4 can be taken much deeper into the redline, but for some reason I was shifting early for this run. When in 3rd gear, I take it easy around 68 to 70.

I start to counter steer early, to straighten the car out, then I steer into the turn. I try to gas it when the centerline of the car passes the outside cone. This helps keep the car's disposition steady, and makes coming around the cones easier.

For the last 2 or 3 sets of cones, I usually try to go flat-out. I'm a little late for this run, but I manage to cross for a gold time. I cross at 0'17.645, going 83 mph in 3rd gear.
