Here's a run at Suzuka in the EP Type R. The test section is the first part of the Esses, and doing well on this test means doing well in a lot of races, as the AI Opponents take really bad lines.
This test will start you headed toward the left side of the track. I found it best to immediately steer to the right, to help set up the coming left hander. If you look along the right hand side wall, there's a patch of white that appears (after the red-white-green section). When this lonely white patch goes off-screen, I begin my turn-in.
I aim for the inside curb, and briefly lift. My speed drops from 79 to 74, then I get back on the gas as I roll over the curbing.
I keep steering to the left until the curbing for the right hand side approaches. At that point, I lift completely and swing the steering to the right. I feel myself getting a bad angle for the exit, so I give a little dab of the brakes to help settle the car in. I don't get back on the gas until I'm sure I won't go off to the left, dipping as low as 60. A better entry angle and exit for this part should put me closer to the right side of the track. This would make it easier for me to accelerate all the way through the final left turn, instead of lifting.
I start my turn-in for the final left from the middle of the track, swinging to the other side when the dirt goes out of view on the left. I aim the car toward the inside curb again, briefly lifting to make sure I don't go wide, then get back on the gas at 64 when I hear the wheels over the curb. TCS is turned on, so I try to take a smooth exit and stay to the right. There's no need to prepare for the next turn...
I cross the line at 0'17.135, going 73 mph.
